This publication aims to help countries establish national development strategies consistent with the development goals agreed upon during past conferences and summits of the United Nations. These policy notes address reform in state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in line with goals established in the aforementioned settings. This publication discusses the management of SOEs, privatization, and the management of rents from natural resources. Each topic is explored in detail.
