Performance Evaluation and Management of SOEs - International Workshop New Delhi 2015

The Department of Public Enterprises organised the first ever International Workshop on 'Performance Evaluation and Management of State Owned Enterprises (SOEs)' on January 14-15, 2015. The workshop was organised in collaboration with Performance Management Division of Cabinet Secretariat and the support of the United Nations Development Programme, World Bank and Institute of Public Enterprises. The inaugural session was graced by Mr. Anant Geete, Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises and Mr. Shri G.M Siddeshwara, Minister of State for Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises. The broad objective of the international workshop was to bring together policy makers, academicians, executives of State Owned Enterprises and experts in the field of management of SOEs from all over the world to enable sharing of information on best practices and experiences in the areas of performance evaluation and management. Senior officials and experts from a number of countries such as Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brazil, China, Kenya, Malaysia, Maldives, South Korea, Tanzania, Thailand, along with academia from India and abroad participated in the workshop.
