Corporate Governance in Financial Sector Companies of Pakistan: Current State and Room for Improvement

This paper presents a general overview of corporate governance in Pakistan's financial sector. The paper presents and analyzes a survey regarding the state of current reforms and suggestions for future improvement. The survey finds that since national corporate government standards were introduced, the performance of firms has increased. However, not all sectors or leaders wholly adopt these reforms. Recommendations of future reforms are specified.
